AN ACT relating to a consistent public policy for the provision of services to persons with disabilities and the frail elderly.
Create new sections of KRS Chapters 48 and 205 to state a public policy providing rights and responsibilities to persons with disabilities and the frail elderly.
HB 769 - AMENDMENTS
SCS - Delete the language providing that specified persons have the right to fiscally sound programs and funding mechanisms that support them to remain in their home and community of choice.
SFA (1, J. Denton) - Create a new section of KRS 205.510 to 205.645 to require adult day health care programs to provide services only during the posted hours of operation.
SFA (2, T. Buford) - Provide that public policy applies to caregivers, not informal caregivers, of persons with disabilities and the frail elderly.
