AN ACT relating to workers' compensation.
Amend KRS 342.020 and 342.710 to provide reasonable attorney's fees for medical/rehabilitation disputes; amend 342.125 to extend the reopening period to 4 years after termination of the original award; amend 342.185 to provide that the statute of limitations for cumulative trauma injury is 2 years after the date of last exposure; amend 342.730, relating to permanent partial disability, to provide 520 weeks of benefits for permanent disability exceeding 35%, rather than 50%, and provide that termination of benefits will occur at age 70, or 5 years after the injury.
HB 832 - AMENDMENTS
HCS/LM - Amend KRS 342.730 relating to permanent partial disability to provide income benefits for 425 weeks for an employee with a disability rating of 35% or less and for 520 weeks for an employee with a disability rating greater than 35%.
