     AN ACT relating to the Kentucky Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program.
     Create a new section of KRS 216.537 to 216.590 to require the Cabinet for Health Services to upgrade, subject to available funding, the status of a long-term care ombudsman from part-time to full-time to ensure that there is at least 1 full-time long-term care ombudsman in each area development district and 1 full-time long-term care ombudsman for each 2,000 nursing home residents in Kentucky.
