AN ACT relating to state employee leave time.
Create new section of KRS 61 to allow paid leave during a disaster to state government employees who are certified as disaster services volunteers with the American Red Cross; include definitions of "disaster" and "state agency".
SB 14 - AMENDMENTS
SCS/FN - Retain original provisions; amend KRS 61.394 to clarify that state employees are entitled to leave of absence with pay and other benefits when called to military duty based on specified periods of time in a federal fiscal year rather than a calendar year.
