SB 163 (BR 2037) - T. Buford
AN ACT relating to the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.
Amend KRS 157.395, 161.131, 161.132, 161.133, and 161.134 to permit certified secondary teachers employed by the Department for Technical Education or the Kentucky Community and Technical College System to be eligible for the same incentives to participate in the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification process that are granted to public school teachers in local school districts.
SB 163 - AMENDMENTS
SFA (1, T. Buford) - Provide that the Department for Technical Education and the Kentucky Community and Technical College System shall provide the salary supplement to eligible teachers from the funds set aside in the agency's biennial budget for this purpose.
SFA (2, T. Buford) - Make technical changes to bill and clarify the source of funds for salary supplements for eligible teachers.
