AN ACT relating to enterprise zones.
Amend KRS 154.45-050 to specify that no existing enterprise zone shall lose its designation as an enterprise zone prior to July 1, 2004.
SB 175 - AMENDMENTS
SFA (1, W. Blevins) - Amend to state that no enterprise zone shall lose its designation prior to July 1, 2005.
SFA (2, W. Blevins) - Amend to state that no enterprise zone shall lose its designation prior to December 31, 2006.
SFA (3, D. Adams) - Create a new section of KRS 154.45 to designate Mulhenberg County as an enterprise zone and to require that Mulhenberg County shall retain its designation as an enterprise zone until December 31, 2008.
SFA (4, D. Adams) - Create a new section of KRS 154.45 to designate Muhlenberg County as an enterprise zone and to require that Muhlenberg County shall retain its designation as an enterprise zone until December 31, 2008.
SFA (5, J. Denton) - Direct the Interim Joint Committee on Economic Development and Tourism to determine the costs and benefits of extending enterprise zone designations.
