AN ACT relating to the Kentucky State Corrections Commission.
Amend KRS 196.081 to re-create the Kentucky State Corrections Commission and attach it to the office of the commissioner of the Department of Corrections; require the commission to develop a statewide strategic plan for the development and implementation of effective community-based sanctions for criminal offenders; amend KRS 196.700 to define "targeted offenders" and other terms; amend other sections of KRS Chapter 196 to conform.
