AN ACT relating to intercollegiate athletics.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 164 to require a postsecondary institution to enter into contracts with members of coaching staffs; permit the governing board of a postsecondary education institution to terminate the contract of a head coach and any member of the coaching staff for violating the rules of the postsecondary education institution and national intercollegiate athletic associations or conferences; prohibit public and private affiliated organizations from expending state funds or other valuable consideration for contract buyouts or severance packages for terminated coaches; require the recovery of money and other valuable consideration and the award of reasonable attorneys' fees in legal proceedings.
