HB 112/HM (BR 822) - T. Burch, P. Bather, R. Palumbo, T. Riner, J. Stewart

     AN ACT relating to health insurance coverage for colorectal cancer detection.
     Create a new section of Subtitle 17A of KRS Chapter 304 to require health benefit plans to provide coverage for colorectal cancer screenings in accordance with guidelines of the American Cancer Society.

HB 112 - AMENDMENTS


     HFA (1, T. Burch) - Delete the requirement that insurance reimbursement to health care providers for colorectal cancer screenings be equal to or greater than reimbursement to health care providers provided under Title XVIII of the Social Security Act.

     SFA (1, E. Harris) - Create a new section of Subtitle 17A of KRS Chapter 304 to allow insurers to offer limited health benefit plans that exclude coverage for all or designated mandated health insurance benefits specified in Chapter 304, except for those benefits mandated by federal law.

     SFA (2/Title, E. Harris) - Make title amendment.
