AN ACT relating to motor vehicle license plates.
     Amend KRS 186.240 to increase from 5 to 10 years the scheduled cycle for issuing new standard motor vehicle license plates; allow the cabinet to extend the 10 year cycle up to 5 additional years if the majority of plates are still in good condition; allow an individual plate holder whose plate has deteriorated to obtain a new plate free of charge.
