AN ACT relating to retirement.
     Create a new section of KRS 61.510 to 61.705 to allow full-time public safety officers of the universities to participate in the Kentucky Employees Retirement System and require the individual to pay the cost of transfer and conversion; amend KRS 61.680 to authorize member of the General Assembly who previously retired from a state-administered retirement system while in office to elect to participate in the Legislators' Retirement Plan within thirty (30) days of retirement; authorize previously-retired member to elect to participate in the Legislators' Retirement Plan as of the date of retirement if election is made within thirty (30) days of the effective date of this Act.
