AN ACT relating to trespassing while engaged in fish or wildlife activities.
Amend KRS 150.990 to increase the penalties for trespassing while hunting or fishing.
HB 343 - AMENDMENTS
SFA (1, E. Harris) - Amend KRS 150.990 relating to trespass while hunting; reduce penalties proposed in original bill by eliminating license and gear forfeiture for first and second offenses; raise period of license loss for third offense from one to three years and add forfeiture of gear.
SFA (2, E. Worley) - Amend to remove provisions relating to equipment and license forfeiture.
SFA (3, D. Kelly) - Amend to create a new section of KRS Chapter 150 to allow hunters to enter private property to retrieve hunting dogs; amend KRS 150.990 relating to trespass while hunting to reduce penalties proposed in original bill by eliminating license and gear forfeiture for first and second offenses; raise period of license loss for third offense from one to three years and add forfeiture of gear.
