AN ACT relating to tourism development and declaring an emergency.
Amend various sections of KRS 148 to allow for a theme restaurant destination attraction, which shall have capital costs in excess of $5,000,000, seating capacity of 450 guests of which a minimum of 50% shall not be residents of the Commonwealth, and business plans that indicate that the facility will be open a minimum of 300 days a year and offer live musical or theatrical entertainment during the majority of operating hours, to be eligible for financial incentives under the Tourism Development Act
HB 451 - AMENDMENTS
HCA (1, T. Kerr) - Amend KRS 148.859 to prohibit any theme restaurant destination attraction from receiving sales tax refund if it fails to attract 50% non-residents.
HFA (1, J. Callahan) - Attach the provisions of HB 28.
