AN ACT relating to improving waterfront-based economic opportunity in the Tennessee-Tombigbee Inland Waterway System through Action Inc., and making an appropriation therefor.
     Allocate $1.5 million from the tobacco settlement fund and appropriate $750,000 in FY 2003 and $750,000 in FY 2004, before any funding is further distributed, to ACTION, INC., a nonprofit corporation established for industrial and economic development in western Kentucky; restrict use of the funds to developing the Calvert City Waterfront Industrial site, in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and he Tennessee Tombigbee Inland Waterway System.
