SB 143/LM (BR 1192) - J. Denton
AN ACT relating to public servants.
Amend KRS 61.409, relating to law enforcement agency residency requirements, to permit any city, county, urban-county, charter county, consolidated local government, or tax district to set response time residence requirements for its employees and volunteers; prohibit requiring voter registration as a condition of employment; repeal KRS 15.335, relating to peace officer residency requirements and KRS 311.657, relating to emergency medical services residency requirements.
SB 143 - AMENDMENTS
HFA (1, J. Coleman) - Amend KRS 12.210 to require consultation with the Attorney General before state government employs an outside attorney; amend KRS 12.213 to provide that employment of legal defense of government be done with the advice of the Attorney General.
