AN ACT relating to employment contracts involving physicians.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 372 to define "physician employer" and "physician employee"; prohibit a physician employer from requiring a physician employee to refrain from obtaining employment in a specified geographic area for a specified time after termination of employment with that physician employer and from requiring a physician employee to disclose and from requiring a physician employee to disclose the terms of an offer of employment the terms of an offer of employment from any other physician employer; permit a civil action for damages, attorney's fees, and costs against a person who violates the prohibitions.
