AN ACT relating to the Medicaid drug utilization review.
Amend KRS 205.5634 to require the Cabinet for Health Services to identify appropriate use of pharmaceuticals and determine any need for educational interventions; amend KRS 205.561 to delete the requirement that Medicaid dispensing cost reports be submitted to the Drug Management Review Advisory Board; create a new section of KRS 205.510 to 205.630 to encourage the Cabinet for Health Services to confer with affected parties prior to promulgating administrative regulations related to Medicaid; repeal KRS 205.5636 and 205.5638.
