Amend KRS 138.470, relating to exemptions from motor vehicle usage tax, to exempt vehicles operating under a charter bus certificate issued by the Transportation Cabinet under KRS Chapter 281; amend KRS 139.480, relating to sales tax exemptions, to exempt repair and replacement parts for charter buses operating under a charter bus certificate issued by the Transportation Cabinet, or operating under similar authority granted by the U.S. Department of Transportation; EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1, 2005.
