     AN ACT relating to railroad crossings.
     Amend KRS 277.065 to require the railroad company to establish a substitute grade crossing, if a community of greater than 100 people is left with one crossing as a result of a closure; require all costs relating to the elimination and opening of a substitute crossing to be borne by the railroad company; require the railroad company to maintain any underpass to promote the safe movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic; permit a community of greater than 100 people with one grade crossing into the residential area to petition the department of highways for installation of an additional grade crossing; require the department to order the installation of an additional crossing upon receipt and verification of a petition; require all costs relating to the installation of the crossing to be borne by the railroad company.
