AN ACT relating to services for children.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 605 to require the Department for Juvenile Justice and the Cabinet for Health and Family Services to notify the public and the local authorities of new children's residential programs, leases, or new construction of children's residential programs; require a public hearing by state agency if requested by local authorities; specify that the requirements foster homes and do not apply to leases, construction, or acquisition efforts begun prior to effective date of the Act.
