AN ACT relating to pupil transportation.
Amend KRS 157.360 to delete the provision that districts may adopt a payment formula for transportation for nonpublic school students; amend KRS 157.370 to provide that a school district shall not be funded over 105% of the district's actual cost of transportation and that all districts shall be proportionately reduced if there are insufficient funds; provide that districts may adopt a payment formula for the transportation of nonpublic students.

HCS - Direct the Legislative Research Commission to study the current funding formula and the equitable disbursement of pupil transportation funds; report to the Interim Joint Committees on Education and Appropriations and Revenue no later than July 1, 2007.
