AN ACT relating to payments of fines, forfeitures, taxes, or fees to county clerks.
Amend KRS 45.345 and KRS 64.840 to allow payments of fines, forfeitures, taxes, or fees to county clerks to be paid by cashier's check, certified check, or personal check; specify that a county clerk may refuse to accept a personal check as remittance in fines, forfeitures, taxes, or fees due or collected by any person who has ever tendered the county a check which, when presented for payment, was not honored.
