AN ACT relating to intrastate natural gas pipelines and providing an appropriation therefor.
Create a new section of KRS 353.750 to 353.776 to establish an intrastate natural gas pipeline trust fund to receive a portion of the natural gas severance tax attributable to natural gas that flows through intrastate gathering and transmission lines completed on or after January 1, 2007; define "intrastate gathering and transmission lines"; create a new section of KRS 143A to deposit a portion of natural gas severance tax receipts to the intrastate natural gas pipeline trust fund; provide that deposit shall be made prior to transfers to the local government economic assistance fund; EFFECTIVE January 1, 2007.
