     AN ACT relating to honeybees.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 252 to set out entry requirements for honeybees or beekeeping equipment shipped into the state; amend KRS 246.010 to change agricultural reference from "bee" to "honeybee"; amend KRS 252.170 to change "bee" reference to "honeybee", define "honeybee", and define "compliance agreement", "honeybee pest", and "unwanted race of honeybee"; amend KRS 252.190 to expand commissioner's powers to prevent and eradicate honeybee diseases, honeybee pests, and unwanted races of honeybees and to include additional offenses and departmental powers applicable to the oversight of the state's apiary industry; amend KRS 252.200 to clarify the commissioner's powers to establish and maintain honeybee quarantines; amend KRS 252.990 to increase a fine amount and jail time for violations of the chapter; amend KRS 272.1001 to change an agricultural reference from "bee" to "honeybee"; amend KRS 337.010 to change an agricultural reference from "bee" to "honeybee"; amend 252.240 to conform.
