Direct the Legislative Research Commission staff to update its 2002 study of the impact of immigration in Kentucky on public services and the private sector; specify contents; require results to be transmitted to the appropriate interim joint committees prior to the 2007 Regular Session of the General Assembly.
HCR 190 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Delete original provisions; direct the Legislative Research Commission to establish a task force to study, analyze, and assess the impact of immigration in the Commonwealth; set forth the duties; establish the membership consisting of six legislative members, five members from the executive and judicial branches of government, and eight members from certain organizations; require a report of its findings and recommendations to the Legislative Research Commission by October 1, 2007.
