     Direct the Cabinet for Health and Family Services to implement Public Health 21 as a model for Kentucky's public health system in the twenty-first century, which uses best public health practices and enhances public health service delivery and accountability through public and private partnerships enabled by e-health technology; recognize and commend the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and the Department for Public Health for their leadership into the twenty-first century by embracing opportunities to improve the general well-being of Kentucky's citizens by enhancing the infrastructure; direct the cabinet to expand the implementation of e-health to improve the health of Kentucky's citizens; and require a report on Public Health 21 initiatives, projects, and progress to the Interim Joint Committee on Health and Welfare through 2008.
