AN ACT relating to abatement of buildings and properties used for criminal purposes.
Establish KRS Chapter 233A and new sections thereof to provide a means of eliminating drug and gang facilities under procedures for abatement of nuisances, specify duties of Commonwealths and County Attorneys with regard thereto.
HB 223 - AMENDMENTS
HCS/LM - Strengthen requirement on notice to property owners prior to commencement of an abatement action; give property owner 45 days after receipt of notice to comply; delete provision relating to summary trial in such cases.
HFA (1, E. Jordan) - Delete archaic legal language from the bill.
