     AN ACT relating to crimes and punishments.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 197 to prohibit furlough in cases of persons convicted of, pleading guilty to, or entering an Alford plea for a felony offense under KRS Chapter 510; create a new section of KRS 197 to prohibit furlough, community release, good time, or other administrative lessening of penalties to persons convicted of, pleading guilty to or entering an Alford plea for a felony offense under KRS Chapter 510; amend KRS 197.170 relating to notification of release of prisoners form penitentiary to provide for a seven day posting of notice and provide penalty if not complied with; create a new section of KRS 197.400 to 197.440 relating to sexual offender treatment programs to create two separate sexual offender programs; create a new section of KRS Chapter 439 to provide that persons convicted of, pleading guilty to, or entering an Alford plea for a felony offense under KRS Chapter 510, relating to sex offenses, may not be eligible for shock probation, parole, conditional release, or any other early release; amend KRS 439.3401, relating parole for violent offenders, to conform; amend KRS 532.060 relating to felony penalties to establish length of penalty for sex offenses to last until the sexual offender program is completed; amend KRS 439.265, 439.510, 532.045, and 532.200 to conform; title this act the Sarah Hansen Act.
