     AN ACT relating to the affordable housing trust fund and making an appropriation therefor.
     Require Kentucky Lottery Corporation unclaimed prize money to be transferred to the affordable housing trust fund on a quarterly basis, rather than adding it to a prize pool or using it for special lottery prize promotions.

HB 289 - AMENDMENTS


     HCA (1/FN, J. Wayne) - Provide that for FY 1998-99 and each year thereafter, any unclaimed lottery prize money over $6 million shall be transferred to the affordable housing trust fund.
     HFA (1, J. Barrows) - WITHDRAWN.
     HFA (2, J. Barrows) - Provide that General Assembly may appropriate funds from unclaimed lottery prizes; and provide for a transfer during FT 1998-99 and 1999-00 of amounts in excess of $6 million.
     HFA (3, J. Barrows) - Amend title.
     HFA (4, J. Barrows) - Provide that unclaimed prize money may be retained and added to either the pool for future prizes or to be used for special prize promotions, or to allow the General Assembly to appropriate those funds into the affordable housing trust fund; provide to transfer any unclaimed prize money amount in excess of six million dollars ($6,000,000) during FY 1998-99 and FY 1999-00 into the affordable housing trust fund.
     HFA (5, J. Barrows) - Provide that unclaimed prize money may be retained and added to either the pool for future prizes or to be used for special prize promotions, or to allow the General Assembly to appropriate those funds into the affordable housing trust fund.
     SFA (1, D. Kelly) - Amend the provisions of the bill to provide that unclaimed lottery prizes that exceed $6 million shall be credited to net lottery revenues instead of transferred to the affordable housing trust fund.
