AN ACT relating to motor vehicle usage tax.
Amend KRS 138.470 to provide that transfers from individuals to limited liability companies or transfers to individuals from limited liability companies are exempt from motor vehicle usage tax; effective August 1, 1998.

HCS/FN/LM - Retain original provisions of the bill; provide that transfers between limited liability companies and corporations are exempt from motor vehicle usage tax if the transfer is made within 6 months from the time the business is incorporated or dissolved.
