AN ACT relating to the usage of tobacco by minors.
Create a new of KRS Section Chapter 438 to prohibit the use of tobacco products by persons under the age of 18; make violations punishable by community service, revocation, suspension, or delay in securing a driver's license or permit local governments to adopt ordinances pertaining to penalties; require confiscation of tobacco products from those in violation, exempt violations from court fees; require notice to violator as prescribed; permit prosecution of violators in joint action as prescribed.

HCS - Retain provisions prohibiting possession or use of tobacco products by a minor; retain provision requiring law enforcement officer to confiscate any tobacco product found in the possession of a minor; delete penalties for possession or use of tobacco products by a minor.
