AN ACT relating to estheticians.
Create new sections of KRS Chapter 317A to establish licensure criteria for estheticians, instructors of esthetic practices, and esthetic salons, to be administered by the Kentucky Board of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists created in KRS 317A.030.
HB 738 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Expand the new sections of KRS 317A to exclude their application to licensed cosmetologists engaged in esthetic practices as taught in their cosmetology school curriculum, to allow experienced instructors in esthetic practices from other jurisdictions to be eligible for licensure until July 1, 2000, and to give the board the authority to require specific course work for instructor licenses.
