Direct the Legislative Research Commission to conduct a study to determine the best way to educated and protect the elderly citizens of Kentucky from fraud and abuse.
HCR 114 - AMENDMENTS
SCS - Direct the Interim Joint Committee on Health and Welfare instead of Legislative Research Commission staff to undertake a study to determine the most common types of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of the elderly and the most effective approach to education and protection; set forth study objectives; direct the Committee to report its findings and recommendations to the year 2000 Regular Session of the General Assembly instead of directing the staff to report findings and recommendations to the appropriate interim joint committee by July 1, 1999.
