SB 127/FN (BR 1463) - G. Johnson, B. Bailey, W. Blevins, C. Borders, D. Boswell, G. Freeman, D. Seum, G. Williams

     AN ACT proposing to amend KRS Section 170 of the Constitution of Kentucky relating to finances of the Commonwealth.
     Propose to amend Section 170 of the Constitution of Kentucky to permit the General Assembly to exempt all or any portion of the property tax on tangible personal property.

SB 127 - AMENDMENTS


     SCS (1/FN) - Retain the original provisions and provide that the disability determination for the homestead exemption may be defined by general law enacted by the General Assembly.
     SCS (2) - Clarify the homestead exemption available for individuals classified as totally disabled under any retirement system.
     SCA (6/Title, B. Bailey) - Make title amendment.
     SFA (1, G. Williams) - Amend ballot language.
     SFA (2, G. Williams) - Amend ballot language.
     SFA (3, G. Williams) - Provide that the General Assembly may exempt all or any portion of the property tax on any class or classes of property; amend ballot language to conform.
     SFA (4, G. Williams) - Provide that the General Assembly may exempt all or any portion of the property tax on any class or classes of property; amend ballot language to conform.
     SFA (5, G. Williams) - Delete language that would allow the General Assembly to define disabled for homestead property tax exemption purposes; provide that the General Assembly may exempt all or any portion of the property tax on any class or classes of property; amend ballot language to conform.
     SFA (7, G. Williams) - Amend the ballot language.
     SFA (8, G. Williams) - Amend to provide that the General Assembly may exempt any class of property.
