     AN ACT relating to utilities in cities.
     Create a new section of KRS 96.533 to 96.5405 to set standards for municipal utility retail sales concerning customer deposits and service termination; limit the customer deposit to twice the expected bill; require a receipt, and require interest on the deposit; require the utility to give at least 10 days' written notice, and wait at least 27 days after the original bill was sent, before cutting off a customer for nonpayment; require that customer deposit policies be written and available for inspection by the public.
