AN ACT relating to extended warranties.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 365 to require that a person who assumes control of a business that has sold extended warranties shall assume legal obligation for the extended warranties; require that a financial institution that finances the purchase of products with extended warranties shall assume legal obligation for the extended warranties if the seller goes out of business or the purchaser of the product is released from remaining debt; prohibit a financial institution from reporting a person released from debt to a credit agency.
