AN ACT relating to domestic relations.
     Create new sections of KRS Chapter 403 to allow courts to issue emergency custody orders without notice to adverse parties if the child's health is seriously endangered; allow the court to grant possession of the marital residence to the requesting party if necessary to effect the order; require the court to hold a temporary custody hearing with notice to the parties within fourteen (14) days of issuing an emergency custody order; allow a party to move to have the order terminated; provide for emergency appeals from protective orders; allow a court or a member thereof to grant ex parte relief if necessary; specify procedures for taking the appeal.
