SB 424 (BR 2591) - W. Blevins

     AN ACT relating to boarding homes.
     Amend KRS 216B.300 to define "resident" in terms similar to "border", and declare bed and breakfast establishment not to be included in definition of "boarding home" amend KRS 216B.303 to delete requirement of visual privacy in multibed rooms and bathrooms; require boarding home to be in compliance with all codes and ordinances.

SB 424 - AMENDMENTS


     SFA (1, W. Blevins) - Retain original provisions except add that boarding homes with 10 or more residents must comply with state retail food code and related regulations; require that prior to registration, the boarding home owner or operator must submit affidavit of compliance with local fire, building and safety codes.
