AN ACT relating to property tax.
     Amend KRS 132.190 to add language allowing property to be exempted by statute; create a new section of KRS Chapter 132 to exempt motor vehicles registered under the automated motor vehicle registration system from state and local ad valorem tax; amend KRS 132.227, 132.285, 132.485, 132.487, 134.800, 134.805, 134.810, 134.815, 134.820, and 134.825 to apply to motorboats only, amend KRS 136.1873, 92.560, 186A.145, and 186.021 to conform; repeal KRS 134.830, 186A.030, and 132.488; make effective January 1, 2001.
