AN ACT relating to retirement.
Amend KRS 61.637 to delete the provision that a person retired from a hazardous position who draws his or her retirement and then holds an elected city or county office may choose to continue to receive his or her pension and not contribute to the elected office's retirement system; create new section of KRS 78.520 to 78.852 to authorize retired hazardous members in an elected city or county office to purchase credit for service in that elected city or county office accrued between July 15, 1998 and the effective date of this Act, by paying 100% of the cost of service.
