AN ACT relating to revenue and taxation and making an appropriation therefor.
     Create new sections of KRS Chapter 142 to levy a tax of $0.50 a ton on synthetic fuel manufactured or produced from coal; provide that the tax sunsets August 1, 2007; create new sections of KRS Chapter 42 to create a coal county improvement fund; appropriate money received from the tax to the fund; provide that money in the fund shall be used to provide grants to eligible counties to promote tourism, encourage tourism development, encourage economic development, and provide necessary infrastructure.
