AN ACT relating to crimes and punishments.
     Amend KRS 218A.1412 to increase penalty for third or subsequent offense trafficking in a Schedule I controlled substance to a Class A felony; amend KRS 218A.1421 to increase penalty for a third or subsequent offense in trafficking in more than 5 pounds of marijuana to a Class A felony; create a new section of KRS Chapter 439 to require 85 service of sentence prior to parole for a term of years for trafficking in a Schedule I controlled substance or more than 5 pounds of marijuana and a minimum of 20 years on a life sentence for the same offenses; create a new section of KRS Chapter 532 to require that sentences for third or subsequent offense trafficking in a Schedule I controlled substance or more than 5 pounds of marijuana be served consecutively to any other sentence.
