AN ACT relating to voting.
Create new section of KRS Chapter 117 to provide that any qualified voter in a county may vote on a voting machine in the county clerk's office, or other designated and approved location during the 12 days prior to a regular or primary election when absentee voting is allowed; require the location for early voting to be published prior to the early voting period; provide that the county board of elections shall select the necessary election officials to staff the early voting location; require the State Board of Elections furnish county clerks with early voting rosters and early voting request forms; provide instructions for the county clerk or election official in verifying the eligibility of a person to vote during the early voting period and method of recording those votes; require that early voting ballots be tabulated in the same manner as set forth in KRS Chapter 117.
