AN ACT relating to residency requirements for employees.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 65 to prohibit a county containing a city of the first class or a city of the first class from requiring a government employee to be a resident of the county or city unless the employee is informed of the residency requirement prior to his or her initial employment; prohibit any city, county, charter county, or urban-county government that has employees appointed to civil service positions from requiring an employee to be a resident of the local entity unless the employee is informed of the residency requirement prior to his or her initial employment; amend various sections to conform.
