Summary Retain original provisions, except allow a library board to make one recommendation rather than two to the judge/executive regarding appointments to a library board; allow the judge/executive to appoint an individual of his or her choosing if the recommendation is rejected and the alternative procedure has been adopted; allow for the same process to be used regarding recommendations from the state librarian and commissioner to fill vacancies.
