Summary of Original Version | Amend KRS 16.220, relating to the public auction of confiscated firearms, to add the State Police and other state agencies to agencies permitted to receive funds for the purchase of body armor; require requests for the purchase of protective vests to take precedence over requests to purchase firearms and ammunition; permit residual funds to be used for the purchase of electronic control devices, electronic control weapons, or electro-muscular disruption technology, including Tasers. |
