| Summary of Original Version | Amend KRS 304.39-320 to require automobile liability and motor vehicle liability policies of insurance to provide underinsured motorist coverage therein; permit the named insured to reject such coverage in writing; provide that if more than 2 individual claims are asserted against an underinsured motorist and the multiple claimants agree to a settlement resulting in exhaustion of the underinsured policy limits, the underinsured motorist insurer shall be entitled to a credit against total damages only to the extent of the actual amount of such settlement received by the individual claimant. |
