Summary of Original Version Create a new section of KRS Chapter 292 to require qualified individuals to report exploitation to the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and to the commissioner of the Department of Financial Institutions, to allow account disbursements to be delayed under certain circumstances if there is a reasonable belief that the disbursement may result in exploitation, to provide immunity from administrative, civil, or criminal liability for compliance with the Act, to require broker-dealers and investment advisors to provide access to or copies of certain records, and to provide an exemption from the Kentucky Open Records Act for certain records; amend KRS 209.020 to add the Department of Financial Institutions as an authorized agency; and amend KRS 209.030 to avoid duplicative reporting requirement.
