201 KAR 19:410.Accredited schools and colleges for certified interior designers.
Section 1.
Definitions.(1)
"Board" is defined by KRS 323.010(1) and 323.400(1).(2)
"CIDA" means the Council for Interior Design Certification which was formerly known as the Foundation for Interior Design Education Research (FIDER).(3)
"NAAB" means the National Architectural Accrediting Board.Section 2.

Schools and colleges of interior design that have professional degree programs accredited by CIDA or NAAB shall constitute the list of accredited programs.(2)
Education from a program of study on interior design other than a CIDA or NAAB accredited degree program shall be obtained from a school accredited by a regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.HISTORY: (47 Ky.R. 626, 1549; eff. 5-4-2021.)
