201 KAR 41:065.Inactive status.
Section 1.
Inactive Status.(1)
Inactive licensure status shall be granted upon:(a)
Written request to the board prior to the time of renewal; and(b)
Payment of the inactive license fee established in 201 KAR 41:040, Section 7.(2)
A licensee with an inactive license shall not:(a)
Advertise or perform any of the duties established in KRS 329A.010(4);(b)
Hold himself or herself out as a private investigator in violation of KRS 329A.015; or(c)
Display the license during the period of inactive licensure.(3)
The identification card shall be returned to the board office within ten (10) days of acknowledgement of inactive status by the board.(4)
Violations committed while a license is inactive may subject the licensee to:(a)
Penalties associated with KRS 329A.080; and(b)
Action pursuant to KRS 329A.025(3)(g).(5)
The inactive licensee shall be required to either affirm the inactive status or request a return to active licensure each renewal cycle.Section 2.
The licensee may return to active status upon:(1)
Written notification to the board;(2)
Payment of the fee established in 201 KAR 41:040, Section 7; and(3)
